AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION

We support the American Heart Association every year, and participate in the Boston Heart Walk every September. Heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women. Countless numbers of our patient’s, families’, and friend’s lives have been affected by heart disease, that is why it is important to us to continue to support the AHA.

GREATER ASHMONT MAIN STREET ORGANIZATION

Greater Ashmont Main Street is our local small business support center. One of the goals of the organization is to create a vibrant community in our neighborhood. We have completed many of their small business programs. We also support Main streets with donations of funds and time to help other small businesses thrive in our community. A strong and diverse business mix is important for the success of our neighborhood.

MASSACHUSETTS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY BOSTON

As alumni of MCP Boston, we feel a responsibility to help shape the education and training of current pharmacy students. We have partnered with the college to create an on-site internship program that students can participate in for 6 weeks at a time to learn more about the profession of pharmacy and what it means to work in a community pharmacy setting.

MASSACHUSETTS INDEPENDENT PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION

The Massachusetts Independent Pharmacists Association is our voice on state and federal regulation changes. MIPA also acts as a watchdog to alert both pharmacists and lawmakers of unethical and predatory practices used by pharmacy benefit managers.

NORTHEAST PHARMACY SERVICE CORPORATION

Northeast Pharmacy Service Corporation is a long standing partner of ours. NPSC supports independent pharmacies like our own in contracting with insurance companies, staying up to date on regulatory changes, and staying up to date with the latest products and services being introduced to the pharmacy landscape.

ST. MARK'S CIVIC ASSOCIATION

St Mark’s Civic Association is our neighborhood advocacy group where residents of the neighborhood can voice questions and concerns about construction projects in our area, find information on products and services offered within the district, and interact with fellow residents and business owners alike. We feel it is important to be an active member in our neighborhood civic association because we all have a responsibility to take care of the neighborhood that we live and/or work in.
